I have a psychologist friend who periodically sends out little e-mails of encouragement, strength, or humor. I can only imagine she is a fabulous health care professional -- she seems to bring out the "zen" in everyone.
Today, she sent along the following Anaïs Nin quote:
"I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman."
I like that.
